About us

A pier is a structure that extends into the sea so vessels can dock. It is a place of safety, especially in a rough sea. In a world of so much uncertainty, the Word of God is like a PIER, because it is the truth that sustains us!

As Faculdade Batista Pioneira, we understand that we can serve churches and people in their spiritual and ministerial lives. That is why we developed PIER CURSOS, a platform of short extension courses.

We want people not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to become agents of transformation. Applying theological knowledge is essential to improving spiritual life and the political, economic, and social spheres.

Our courses are grounded in essential values: the Bible as the Word of God, love for God and neighbor, the centrality of Christ, the integration of theory and ministerial practice, academic excellence, critical thinking, cooperation, integrity, and a missionary vision.
